I cannot say enough good things about this place!! White table cloths and excellent, friendly service! Parking is easy and while you can make a reservation to secure a spot we didn't have any trouble walking in on a weeknight and securing a table for 2. The food is incredible and priced well. The bread that comes to the table is fresh and soft. The turkish pasta is a must try and we loved the variety of the protein platter (plus it already comes with a side!). Will be recommending this place to everyone and will definitely be back!
Visiting Nashville and tried this local place. So glad we did. Delicious food, good atmosphere and lovely staff service.
Service was good. The restaurant was quiet even though in a busy area. The lentil soup, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves were all really good. This place was pretty kid friendly. They had high chairs, and coloring sheets. I can't recall if there was a changing table or not in the bathroom.
This place is DELICIOUS! I love having Turkish food so close to my side of town compared to driving towards the south east side of Nashville. The food is great, service is good BUT not that quick- so plan on spending some time there to enjoy the music playing, food and a dessert! They also do a lot of carryout/takeaway orders so you can have Turkish food at home!
For a long time we talked about Anatolia with our neighbors as a good place for traditional Turkish ethnic food. Finally we did it. Restaurant is located in the strip mall. Nothing to bring to your attention to walk in. That's why Yelp is helpful and I enjoy writing reviews. It's a traditional seating, nice clean table, what I like because reminds me of the my home. Service was excellent with extra effort from the server to accommodate meals choices and specially wine. We wanted to taste Turkish white wine. All four meals were excellent including dessert that we shared. Finally, prices are a very reasonable . It's a place to come back and maybe, enjoy the lunch menu.
Let's talk about one of the hottest restaurants in Nashville. Anatolia maintains magnificent ratings including a 4.3 on Yelp, a 4.4 on Google, and a 4.5 on TripAdvisor with nearly 1,500 combined reviews at the end of 2024! In fact, a few years after the Ustunkaya brothers opened the establishment in 2003, it started burning up the user-drive platforms. That was sufficient to inspire its addition to my local restaurant bucket list. It only took me 20 years to get there. I blame Nashville for opening up so many incredible eateries!! Having eaten in various regions of Turkey, I can confirm that the food at Anatolia is very authentic! The interior is quite pleasant, dare I say even romantic. The menu is extensive and provides a superb sampling of the varied flavors of Turkish food. Having sampled a little bit of everything, I'll provide my opinion. This should assist in your selection process from a such a vast menu of tempting options. The Stuffed Grape Leaves, Fillo Dough Rolls, Kunefe dessert, and complimentary fresh warm bread are all pretty good. The lamb chops are very good, tender and beautifully cooked with mild Turkish spices. But it's the olive oil dip with spices that comes with the starter bread that's among the most amazing things you'll eat here, as well as the spectacular rice that accompanies many of the main dishes! And the hummus may just be the best in the entire city of Nashville! That's their greatest dish! Pro tip: Pour some of that complimentary dip into the hummus and it's pure magic! Anatolia is a great spot for the adventurous eater curious about Turkish food and has similarities to Greek food for reference. I was especially impressed that when I ordered the Kunefe dessert at the beginning of the meal, something that takes 20 minutes to make fresh, my waiter cleverly put in the order so that it came out just as I was finishing my main course. Nice! They also offered a free Turkish tea to a woman awaiting a to-go order that didn't come out until seven or eight minutes after she had arrived. I love their hospitality and attention to detail!
This restaurant is totally amazing. Turkish food is to die for and this place is the perfect place to try it in the US. The atmosphere is very pleasing and the service is very good. I recommend trying the rakı; it's a little rough, but worth it for an authentic Turkish experience. If you get any meat, make sure you dip it in the yogurt, it will greatly enhance the experience. Food was flavorful and I loved the free bread. They had four vegetarian main options, and all the soups and many of the appetizers were vegetarian. My favorite starters were the lentil soup and the free bread. We also tried hummus and ezme. The ezme tasted like Mediterranean pico de gallo. The vegetarian sampler had more mellow flavors and the rice tasted quite plain. Our server was friendly. We sat outside (dog friendly) and they had 4 tables four outdoor seating with roof overhead (in case of rain).
Food: 4/5. Service: 4/5. Ambiance: 4/5. We stopped here as it was nearby and we wanted to eat middle eastern. We were not disappointed. The service was good and they kept bringing out fresh bread for us. We had stuffed grape leaves and filo dough fried and stuffed with cheese. Both yummy. Then for an entree we had adana kabob (my favorite) and iskender kabob (also very good). Definitely will be returning to try the rest of the menu out.
